Beauty is in the Back Story: Diversity, Complexity and Collaborative Making in the Australian Condition - Wiley 2019 - Vol 89, Issue 5, 2019 : (104-111 p.)

Curator and author Fleur Watson and Martyn Hook, Dean of the School of Architecture and Urban Design at RMIT University in Melbourne, talk to John Wardle, principal of John Wardle Architects. Wardle explains that his conception of beauty is in understanding where an object has been made, by whom, when and why. His practice therefore works very closely with craftsmen, even in these technology‐enhanced, post‐digital times.
